Infographic: Car Dependency In San Diego’s No Parking Affordable Housing

Low or no parking developments are being pushed forward in San Diego and across California, billed as a way to encourage transit use and bring down housing development costs. Waiving parking minimums has become a commonly-used strategy to bring down the cost of development, and incentivize affordable housing. This strategy rests on the idea that if parking is removed, car usage will decline.
